Kungfu originates from China where
Buddhism met Taoism. Kungfu is a fighting art utilizing mind and body to create a
system of exercise and self defense. Animals and insects are often mimicked.
There is a classification or difference between Northern and Southern styles.
Soft and Hard styles. The Yin and Yang. Internal and External styls of
Kungfu. The Northern arts of Kungfu tend to utilize more kicking techniques.
The Southern styles use more boxing and hand fighting techniques. The most
famous internal kungfu style is Tai Chi. |
